I have both Admin Secure and Protector installed on my site. I realize and accept that this will increase page generation times but it's getting ridiculous. Page gen times are often in the teens and up to 30 something seconds. it is rare to see anything below ten. It's driving me batty.
So, are there certain settings that tend to make a signifigant difference with this? Is it more one than the other (AS vs Protector)? Is there a way to disable Protector it without uninstalling, for trial purposes?
I have a number of other nuke and phpBB sites on this server and all run fast, all the time. None have either security system installed.
