users that have read an article

Hello,

i need know who and when the users reads my news, i don't know if this module exists or if must create.

I think it could be easy, my idea is create a table with fields:

fk_user
fk_article
when (datetime type)

And then when a user clicks on the link of the article the system will insert a register on the table.

Then is easy make any form where the user could view this info.

I never programed in php, i don't know if it could result very difficult to implement or not.

I'll agree your opinions.
