I live less than 3 hours from her hometown, Timmins, Ontario (I live in Sudbury). I can honestly say that I met her. It was many years ago when she sang in the evening concerts at Deerhurst resort in Huntsville Ontario. I was impressed with her ability then.

My nephew went to school with her. He said she was pretty "normal" when they were in high school. Except for her family obligations, she was your regular high School Girl.

And I have to agree ith you Zhen. She is extrodinairy. I am not a big fan, but then again, I wouldn't kick her out for eating crackers... Smile

From a physical standpoint, I am certainly attracted. However I certainly don't know her as a person, but her songs I enjoy very much. If you ever run across her again, let her know your friend has been able to lead a positive life many times thanks to her upbeat songs. Tell her I said thanks.

Considering that she now lives in Switzerland, and that she probably has more bodyguards (now theres a job I'd like) than you can shake a stick at, I probably won't ever talk to her again. But if I ever do, you got it.

BTW, she was added to th Canadian Walk of Fame last night. She looked great as usual.
