need some help if possible am totaly stuck in a admin loop have upgraded to v4.0 of mysql database not sure what else that i can do can't find any problems withthe datadase any idea would be very well helpful

I had that problem once....cleaning out my cookies worked for me.

tryed it all admins and users are affected by it when a use try to log in it says they are offline and they can't access anything it was working til i dumped and reinstall my linux box so not sure if it could be a server setting or not

I had that bug and fixed it 2 weeks ago.
Lemme remeber what I did...

I tryed all suggestions. What worked was phpmyadmin and tweeking something in there, I changed the admin password in one of the field in the database. Do a google search for phpmyadmin loop nuke and should pull of some helpful information.

nope coouldn't find anything that look like it was ralevent i just don't understand why it worked until i reinstalled mmy box casue everything is the same version it was

nope.. no confirmation email i'm afraid Sad

If you have phpMyAdmin (or similiar) try looking at entries in nuke_bbconfig .. change the cookie name and check the domain paths.

also in nuke_config check the site url is set to the nuke/ directory and not to root. If you need a tool to help try MySQL Front-end available here

i will check all that again the reason you didn't get a email is cause i manually activate accounts cause i don't use sendmail i havn't set that back up cause i gcan't get this stupid thing working
