A search of the forums did not reveal an obvious answer or known problem, so I chance to ask...
I simply want to tweak the subSilver theme for the Forums under 6.8. So I duplicated the theme folder (so as to have a back up), renamed it, and uploaded it to my server. However, the new theme is not appearing in PHPBb Admin in the Configuration : default style menu.
So I hit Styles Admin just to poke around, and I get the following error...
Warning: Unable to access ./pagestart. in /home/httpd/vhosts/indygoth.com/httpdocs/modules/Forums/admin/admin_styles.php on line 48
Fatal error: Failed opening required './pagestart.' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /home/httpd/vhosts/indygoth.com/httpdocs/modules/Forums/admin/admin_styles.php on line 48
Any ideas? I understand that both are probably not related, but it is a little puzzling. It'd been a while since I worked with my themes, but I was pretty sure that all you had to do was upload a new one inorder to have the option of using it in the Config.
Also - I ported my users over from a stand alone version of PHPBB (I dumped the data from the old DB and inserted it inot the new one - not too painful).
In the move, the Joined Date data for my users went from being MMDDYYYY to a ten digit number. Is there something I need to adjsut in the database in order to get this number back to its normal format?
Thanks in advance.

Next time try searchiing for the error or part of the error, this has been answered many many times.
Admin/styles is not used in ANY vs after Nuke 6.0. Subsilver is only used as a template, and if the theme you are using on your site isn't ported. You shouldn't be doing anything in there. Themes are added into html/themes the default theme is selected through preferences, and the users chose their theme through Your_Account/themes
Themes created for 6.0 will not work. Themes created for 6.5 or greater should all be fine. If you want to add your own modifed vs of the theme to themes/YOUR_THEME/forums you can't just copy the forums folder over of the modified template. It wont work.

Cool - thanks for the info. On that note, I've decided to hack out the css that controls the subSilver template and use the main site theme style to control everything. In fact... much of nuke could be purged of its classes and tables for cleaner CSS styling. Hrm - sounds like a week-end project.
