fix for "Email authentication not being sent" ? 6.

This is strange !

I thought that phpnuke was not sending Email authentication to new users!

But!!!

The truth is , if the user was using hotmail account (email) he will get the Email Authentication , but if he was using AOL for example , he will not get it . .

Those who are having the same problem , plz check which email service is being used and post it here maybe we will figure out what is wrong!

Ok im havin the same issue it seems to be sending to the free accounts so far it has worked with hotmail, yahoo, excite but will not work with verizon.net or aol that I have tried i dont know but this is really strange how can we resolve this issue..

I think this has been mentioned elsewhere.
As far as I'm aware, it is not a Nuke problem in so much as AOL is treating sent mails as Spam - jolly good of them NOT!

Mine worked for several months, then I got a mail from AOL informing me that mail from my server was being treated as spam. I wrote back and *put them right on a few things* but they never replied!

I found this little tidbit in my endless search to figure out why cant i get the mail to send out to aol. earthlink. verison. bellsouth... but it works for yahoo, hotmail, excite ..
