moving php nuke?

I need some help.
my server provides a autoinstall for nuke but you need to add a extra bit like for me /index but now i need it on the base level so it is the main site not /index. I have a taking you page with redirect right now but want to get rid of this.

will coping everything over do it or is there more?
is there any safe way to do this?

Two ways.
Create an .htaccess file that redirects your main domain to Phpnuke index.php.
or
move all your phpnuke files, from its folder, to main www or public_html folder, via ftp.
BACK UP EVERYTHING, VIA CPANEL, FIRST.

how do i create the .htaccess bit?
would that still be a pain with google or would it be fine with rating me with that?

Without knowing your folder structure, cannot post the .htaccess info required Wink

Better to have an actual index.html page/index.php page, with correct meta tags in place.

well worked out my server and nuke site both hate metransferring it so i will have to figure out how to do the htaccess thing.
