I've downloaded MyHeadlines from its authors website, it doesn't, every link comes back with the same page ya starting with. Even the standalone version of MyHeadlines does the same. Nothing.

Does anyone have this problem.

That's strange?

Maybe I did something wrong while installing it... I could not understand the "register global in php.ini file" sentence in the install.txt file. Maybe it is because of that, do you know what it is meant by it??

It's an option that has to do with variables. Typicaly it can be turned to off or on in your php.ini file. If you are using hosted space you may not have direct access to your php.ini file to make the change. You can ask your host to do it for you. Some hosts provide a gui interface for you to make the changes you wish. It might be in there. On a side note this can be a security issue under certain conditions so make sure your patched and are running some sort of lock down tool (i.e. Protector, Fortress, etc...)
