Hi.. we had a vanilla install of 7.4 and started getting repeatedly hacked. So we upgraded to 7.9 (yes I did all the upgrade scripts for each version) which seemed to resolve our kiddie hacker vulnerabilities . In the process, we seem to have introduced a couple bugs:

1. When forum users hit REPLY to a thread, where they would normally have seen the message their are replying to in a window below the WYSISYG editor, they now see this message in the window:

2. Cookies seem messed up (people aren't seeing accurate indication of new posts to them, etc...).

3. Triggering office firewalls (suddenly several members can't access the sites from their office; is there something in 7.9 that wasn't in 7.4 that a firewall or content filter might be sensitive to?)

I'd apprecaite any suggestions to snuff any of these out. I went ahead and did the BBtoNuke patches to get from 2.017 to 2.020 and all the interim patches and they seemed to work just fine but did not solve any of the above bugs.
