PHPNUKE 6.9 Final released - almost 90 000 user: a milestone!
PHP-NukeAnonymous writes "Milestones ahead: phpnuke has got almost 90 thousand users (only a few hundreds left!).
Btw: Nuke is by far the most global network on the whole net ;-> Apart from the net itself! and is generally the best thing ever. ;->.

Now Franzisko releases Version 6.9! "It includes Forums upgrade to 2.0.5 from NukeCops, a highly requested feature to have graphic security code optional and totaly configurable from config.php file, and many more fixes and enhancements. This release closes the 6.x branch and opens the development of PHP-Nuke version 7.0. Enjoy this new release!"

NUKE, it is a synonym for a globalwork: Bridging Distance, Culture & Time! The Spirit of the Nuke-Community is one of the most impressive things i ever experienced! The Nuke group is stronger than ever before!

Admin Note: While everyone's opinion is respected, the last thing we need is yet another flame war started."

What a joke!!! Nukecops develops a new fix, and what does FB, he releases a new PHP-Nuke 6.9

This is totally crap, FB just wants to earn money, he doesn't want to support the community, he doesn't want to help out people by installing a cvs system @ phpnuke.org.

FB'S new commercial license shows us again how stupid man kind can be. He asks 300 bucks for something he claims to be tha author. First of all, i'm in the community since 2001, i know what people contributed to nuke, and that's almost 70% of the code nuke is running today. FB'S is just doing crap since he decided to not work with the community anymore. He decided to be the god of nuke. One year after people were so angry at him, cause they saw how he was slowly but surely destroying what was left of the nuke. He removed all forums and comments cause he saw more and more developpers telling him what he was doing was crap. He told the community the bandwith lie, and said his server was crap so he had to shut down the forum. This is the most stupid thing i have ever heard. The comments are the most userfull tool in phpnuke, just a stupid person like FB would want to remove them.

Who wants to really cash 300 bucks of goodies @ amazon to pay FB, for something, he can get anywhere for free? We should start to create a good alternative distribution source for all new nuke releases.

Nukecops is on the right way. The CVS is really usefull. Nukecops is growing fast and has a good team. If nukecops would stop updating nuke, FB would be in great trouble, because all the fixes of the four latest versions were provided by nukecops. Nukecops will soon be strong enough to be the first site who could be a real alternative for phpnuke.org. When post-nuke was created by a bunch of people who did not want to support FB's stupid ideas, i really looked forward to it. Today Post-Nuke users change back to nuke, because the postnuke team did not include some good ideas into their code like the security code or phpbb. Nukecops with it's cvs and strong team, and main developper of phpbb port could start it's own nuke project. This project would be supported by the community.

I hate FB because i send him messages all the time to ask him to include the very good gender & birthday mod to your account. I have send him the pagenumbers script for the news, topics and categories. I have send him a tweak to add wysiwyg to the news, plus a scipt that allows you to splitt an artikel in multiple pages. FB knows there are plenty of great scripts out there, that just need to be included in nuke, like image galleries, an agenda, a guestbook, ....

Shame on you FB, you are the scum of OpenSource

Ephemerid is just a fancy way of saying 'special date', like on NC you could have:

November 1, 2002 - Started NukeCops

August 10, 2003 - Had 50,000 page views in a single day

August 19, 2003 - Found out what ephemerid means
